# Publishing a game to the Cartridge Store

*Notice version 1.0, from 2026-10-21.*

**In short:** publishing sends your game, its title and the author name you chose to the
Cartridge Store, where other people can see it after a teacher has checked it. Use a
nickname, not your full name.

- **What is sent:** the game (the cartridge), its title, description, the author name you
  typed, and the version.
- **Who sees it:** after a teacher approves it, everyone who can open that Cartridge Store.
- **The Store is another service.** Your school or another organisation runs it, with its own
  records. To remove a published game, ask your teacher.
- **What the kit keeps:** which game and version you sent, to which Store, and when.
