# Signing in with your school account

*Notice version 1.0, from 2026-10-21.*

**In short:** signing in with your school account sends you to your school's sign-in page.
The kit receives a number that identifies you there, your email and, if your school sends
it, whether you are a student or a teacher. Nothing else.

- The kit never sees your school password.
- It keeps that identifying number with your account, so it is you every time. It never
joins two accounts because their emails are the same.
- You can unlink the school account on your Account page.
- Everything else is as in [Your account](account.md).
